From £2.39 a month for Hostinger’s UK website builder, but only if you pay £114.72 up front for four years, and the plan then renews at £10.99 a month. Those are the figures on Hostinger’s own UK website builder page on 22 October 2026, during a sale it was calling Black Friday. The headline price is real. It is also the price of a 48-month commitment, and the renewal is more than four and a half times the headline.

How much does Hostinger’s website builder cost in the UK?
£2.39 to £7.99 a month at the sale price, on a 48-month term paid up front. Three plans were listed:
| Plan | Sale price a month | Paid up front for 48 months | Hostinger’s regular price for 48 months | Renews at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | £2.39 | £114.72 | £575.52 | £10.99 a month |
| Unlimited | £3.29 | £157.92 | £911.52 | £13.99 a month |
| Cloud Startup | £7.99 | £383.52 | £1,103.52 | £20.99 a month |
Premium allows up to three websites. Unlimited allows unlimited websites and is the plan that includes selling online. Hostinger’s page did not say whether these prices include VAT.
Why is Hostinger so cheap?
Because the advertised monthly price is the long-term commitment divided by 48. You do not pay £2.39 a month. You pay £114.72 on day one, and the “per month” figure is that sum spread across four years. It is a genuine saving if you were going to stay four years anyway, and a poor one if you change your mind in month six. Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, which helps only within that first month.
What does Hostinger renew at?
£10.99 a month for Premium, £13.99 for Unlimited and £20.99 for Cloud Startup, according to the same page. That is the number to plan around, because the sale price applies to the first term only.
| Plan | Sale price | Renewal | Renewal is |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | £2.39 | £10.99 | 4.6 times the sale price |
| Unlimited | £3.29 | £13.99 | 4.3 times |
| Cloud Startup | £7.99 | £20.99 | 2.6 times |
How much does a Hostinger website cost over five years?
£246.60 on the Premium plan, if the renewal price holds: £114.72 for the first four years, then twelve months at £10.99. On Unlimited it is £325.80. That is still inexpensive, which is the honest point about Hostinger: it is cheap even after the renewal, as long as you go in knowing the renewal is coming and that the first four years are paid in one lump.
Is the Hostinger website builder good for a small business?
For a simple site you will build and maintain yourself, it is one of the cheapest options there is. The trade-offs are the usual ones for any builder: the design is limited to what the templates allow, you do not own the site in a form you can take elsewhere, and it does not come with the page structure and local search setup that gets a business found. If your work comes by word of mouth and you need a presence rather than a lead source, a builder like Hostinger is a reasonable answer.
Is there a cheaper way to get a Hostinger site?
Not really. Hostinger’s page lists regular prices of £11.99, £18.99 and £22.99 a month for the three plans; the sale figures come from committing to 48 months. If you are not certain you will still want the site in four years, work out what a shorter term costs in total and compare that with the 48-month lump sum, rather than comparing the monthly figures.
Can I move my website away from Hostinger’s builder later?
Not as a working site. A site made in any drag-and-drop builder is tied to that builder. You can usually take your domain name and your words and pictures with you, but the design and layout have to be rebuilt elsewhere. That is worth knowing before you put four years of money down.
How does Hostinger compare with paying for a website?
On money alone, Hostinger is cheaper. Our fixed-price Starter site is £495 to build, with no VAT added, plus a domain and hosting at roughly £195 a year, so about £1,080 over three years against Hostinger Premium’s £114.72. What the difference buys is a site designed around your business rather than a template, built so it can be found in search, and owned outright, so it can move host whenever you like. If none of that matters for your business, the builder is the better deal, and we would say so. Our website cost calculator runs the comparison for your job.
